Cari lettori, oggi comincia una settimana importante: ovviamente ci stiamo riferendo alla giornata di venerdì, il giorno in cui il melafonino di Apple di terza generazione farà il suo arrivo sul mercato italiano. Su IoChiamo.com abbiamo dedicato diversi articoli all’iPhone, alle sue rivoluzionarie funzionalità e alle novità che tale dispositivo ha apportato nel mercato degli smartphones.
Ma non sempre la discussione sul touchscreen device della casa costruttrice di Cupertino è in positivo. Proprio ieri abbiamo pubblicato un post sulla protesta che si sta scatenando sul Web e non solo, a causa dei costi esorbitanti non tanto dell’iPhone in se (anche se sono piuttosto altri anch’essi), quanto dei piani abbonamento di Tim e Vodafone.
L’aspetto navigazione, un punto davvero cruciale per l’iPhone, è quasi del tutto ignorato, rendendo i profili tariffari veramente svantaggiosi e onerosi rispetto a quanto ci si potesse aspettare. Ma i lati negativi non terminano qui. Navigando su diversi forum e discussioni si percepisce, inoltre, un certo malumore per diversi aspetti dell’iPhone che, nella nuova release 2.0, non sono stati migliorati o aggiunti.
Tra i più importanti ci sono da citare sicuramente la fotocamera, ferma a 2 Megapixel e senza la possibilità di poter effettuare video, la totale assenza della videochiamata, l’assenza degli mms (una lacuna, questa, colmabile con un’applicazione esterna) e della funzione copia/incolla. Un altro potenziale problema, ancora misterioso, riguarda il Bluetooth: nella versione 1.0 tale connettività era bloccata e inutilizzabile per il trasferimento dati, mentre nell’iPhone 3G il mistero continua ad esserci.
Insomma, lungi da noi affermare che il melafonino sia il miglior dispositivo mobile presente sul mercato, perfetto in tutto e per tutto. Ovviamente i punti deboli li ha, come del resto tutti i devices in circolazione. Il problema è che ci sono, comunque, dei terminali che potrebbero ancora dare del filo da torcere al gioiellino di casa Apple, addirittura a prezzi sensibilmente minori, e tali mancanze potrebbero rivelarsi fatali in mercati difficili ed estremamente differenti dagli States, come il nostro o di altri paesi del vecchio continente. Staremo a vedere.
