Nokia fornisce una nuova versione per il firmware del modello E71. Tra le tante novità quelle più di spicco sono l’aggiornamento a Quick Office 5.3, l’implementazione del nuovo Ovi Store 1.5.2 accompagnato da Ovi Contacts, aggiornamento a Email Setup Wizard, risoluzione di molti bug e aggiunta di nuove funzionalità per la tastiera qwerty.
Per aggiornare il firmware del cellulare è necessario prima di tutto creare una copia di backup del telefonino e successivamente aggiornare il sistema utilizzando PcSuite di Nokia.
