Oggi vedremo come è possibile installare sul proprio Sony Ericsson W710i un Tema per il menu in Flash. Vediamo per prima cosa di cosa necessitiamo per poter modificare il nostro menu. Ma veniamo al modding:
Una volta installato il cellulare come nuova periferica sul computer, va spento il cellulare e premuto il tasto “C” mentre si collega il cavo USB. Diamo al PC il percorso in manuale dove trovare i driver ed una volta riconosciuto il file, scollegare il cavo USB dal computer. Adesso avviare il software XS++ e clicchiamo sul pulsante connetti. Il software da a disposizione 30 secondi per riconoscere il cellulare allora adesso spegnamo il cellulare tenendo premuto “C” e colleghiamo il nostro cavo USB. Il software riconoscerà il nostro Sony Ericsson. Adesso in basso a destra, troveremo l’area FSX dove andare a cliccare il pulsante “Start FSX” che ci darà il nostro albero dei dati sul cellulare.
Da qui, come fosse l’esplora risorse del nostro PC, dobbiamo andare a mettere il nostro tema nel cellulare. La cartella precisa del flash deve essere:
: TPA : PRESET : SYSTEM : DESKTOP : FLASH
e qui metteremo il nostro file “iochiamo.swf” cliccando su “Upload”.
Caricato questo andremo a caricare il nostro file “iochiamo.thm” nella cartella:
: TPA : USER : THEME
Dopo aver Uploadato anche quest’altro file, dal programma cliccare su “Shoutdown” e scollegare il cellulare. Al riavvio troveremo il nostro tema installato.
La revisione firmware del cellulare usato in redazione è la 3.11.
